Ski Binding Mount

It can seem like mounting ski bindings will take weeks in Salt Lake City…

But it doesn’t have to.

Salty Ski Service can mount most ski bindings within 24-48 hours, depending on the style of binding and the adhesive used. Yes, this is slower than most of our services, but it is imperative that we are giving you skis with a binding mount that you can trust no matter the speed, terrain, or skill level.

Our service includes choosing an optimal placement for your binding, drilling your skis, setting the binding and adjusting the DIN to your style of skiing.

Things to Know

  • The obvious items to bring are your skis and your bindings! That said, we cannot mount your bindings without at least ONE ski boot. This is the most common mistake people, even highly experienced skiers, make. Please bring your ski boots!!

  • In short, YES! But it is not quite that simple, unfortunately. Most ski manufacturers recommend that your skis are drilled into no more than twice. That means that if your beloved skis have already had two sets of bindings mounted on them, they may not have the structural integrity to withstand one more.

  • We typically say that it takes between 24-48 hours to mount a ski binding. If you’ve been quoted longer at a ski shop, don’t worry! They often have a backlog of bindings to mount, and a limited number of staff to help out.
